Mission Statement:
Good Messengers Ministries (GMM) has a three-fold purpose:
1)    To preach the gospel, using the Law as a tutor to lead people to Jesus Christ
2)    To train other Christians in evangelism
3)    To encourage those active in evangelism how to train others

The variety of ways we’re involved in preaching the gospel:

1)    Street Evangelism: out on the streets in Broad Ripple, Downtown on Monument Circle and other locations- our focus is one on one evangelism in pairs and threesomes, though we have done preaching from amplifiers as well and passing out tracts.
2)    Evangelism in the malls in pairs and threesomes
3)    Special Events Evangelism: we have passed out over 100,000 specialized tracts for the Indy 500, U.S. Grand Prix, Allstate 400 and U.S. Nationals.  We share the gospel at county and state fairs, at Taste of Chicago, Colts football games, NCAA Final Four, the Mini-marathon, Race for the Cure…
4)    Preaching- we typically reserve preaching for special events where there are large crowds, such as at the track and at Race for the Cure and the Mini-marathon.
The variety of ways we’re involved in training other Christians in evangelism:
1)    Our main training material is to use the Law as a tutor to lead people to Christ- “Law to the proud, grace to the humble.” See: "Evangelism and the Law in the New Testament" We’ve found that the vast majority of unbelievers we bump into  believe that they are good enough to go to heaven and escape the judgment of hell, or they suppress the truth about judgment by denying it exists or minimizing it.  The law, the 10 Commandments is what God has prescribed to show people their utter sinfulness and the resulting just judgment of God, leading them to realize the need for salvation through Jesus Christ’s death on the cross in their place.
2)    We train both one on one as we’re out on the streets witnessing and we offer training classes using the materials from Way of the Master from Living Waters and we have our own materials and messages as well.
3)    We offer conferences/outreaches to raise up more harvesters and train them and get them a good start, and to encourage more seasoned evangelists in their faith.
4)    In July ‘07 we did our first outreach with bands, praise dancing and preaching, renting out Monument Circle.  We look to do these in the future, God willing.
5)    We give messages at churches, conferences and events- Contact us

The ways we encourage those active in evangelism on how to raise up more harvesters

1)    Conferences as mentioned above
2)    We lead monthly meetings with Bible studies, such as in the book of Romans, to sharpen those who want to grow in evangelism leadership skills.
3)    We actively pursue Christians to challenge them regarding evangelism to see if
a.    They’re active in sharing their faith
b.    To see if they’re familiar with the purpose of God’s Law in evangelism
c.    If they aren’t familiar with it, we introduce them to the teaching, with the hopes of adding one more harvester to the harvest fields.
